This means that 2 out of 100 couples who use condoms as their primary method of birth control will experience an unintended pregnancy in the first year. It's important to know that this includes condoms that are used incorrectly (like putting it on too late or taking it off too early) and even includes sex acts that may not have been protected by a condom at all.
